Security – Safety and Resilience in the Era of Organized Crime

Students from our Slobomir P University participated on October 9, 2025, in a Round Table held at the “Bosna” Hotel in Banja Luka, on the topic “Youth Against Shadows: Security – Safety and Resilience in the Era of Organized Crime.”

The event was organized with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Center for Security Studies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the invitation to participate was extended by the President of the European Defendology Center Banja Luka.

The objective of the gathering was to provide students with insight into the state of organized crime in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to familiarize them with the state’s strategic approaches in combating it. Participants demonstrated a high level of engagement and contributed through dialogue to the discussion on important security issues.

We extend our gratitude to the organizers and students for successfully representing the University and contributing to the strengthening of the university’s third mission – proactive engagement in the community.
