ISW Internationalisation 360° – A Visit to Vilnius Tech University

Within the framework of cooperation between Slobomir P University Banja Luka and the International University of Travnik, our professor Prof. Dr Božana Tomić participated in the prestigious programme ISW Internationalisation 360°, organised by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) in Lithuania from 20 to 24 April 2026 – one of the leading technical universities in the Baltic region, renowned for its strong research infrastructure and well-developed international activities.
The ISW Internationalisation 360° programme brings together representatives of higher education institutions from around the world with the aim of exchanging experiences, advancing internationalisation practices and establishing new academic partnerships. Over the course of five intensive days, participants had the opportunity to visit key faculties and research centres of VILNIUS TECH, including the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Creative Industries, the Sustainability Hub, as well as centres in the fields of mechanics, electronics, transport, civil engineering and business management.
A particularly notable segment of the programme was the visit to the Innovation and Creativity Centre ‘Linkmenų fabrikas’, which stands as an example of best practice in fostering entrepreneurship and creative thinking in an academic environment. In addition to institutional visits, the programme included interactive workshops, bilateral meetings with representatives of partner institutions, and an organised tour of the historic centre of Vilnius.
The participation of our professor in this programme represents a significant contribution to the internationalisation of Slobomir P University and a reaffirmation of its commitment to the development of international academic cooperation. The contacts established and the experience gained will serve as a foundation for future joint projects and initiatives with partner institutions around the world.
