CALL FOR PAPERS AND PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE ON SECURITY IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM
I INTERNATIONAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE
“CRVENI ALARM – SOS – SYSTEM OF EDUCATIONAL SECURITY”
When silence becomes an alarm!
Banja Luka, Dom omladine, 28–29 September 2026
Dear Colleagues,
Slobomir P University Banja Luka has the pleasure of inviting you to the I International Multidisciplinary and Scientific-Professional Conference “Crveni Alarm – SOS – System of Educational Security”.
Starting from the fact that violence in educational institutions represents one of the most serious contemporary social and security challenges, the conference aims to contribute, through an interdisciplinary approach, to the creation of a sustainable and systemically integrated model of a safe school and a secure educational environment.
Contemporary challenges indicate that institutional security cannot be viewed exclusively through reactive mechanisms of response following incidents, but rather as the result of continuous preventive work, psychological stability, digital security, economic sustainability, and effective inter-institutional cooperation.
The conference brings together experts, researchers, representatives of educational institutions, the security sector, the judiciary, civil society organisations, and decision-makers, with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experience, and examples of good practice in the field of violence prevention and the enhancement of security within the educational system.
Special focus will be directed towards: the prevention of peer violence and all forms of institutional violence; the improvement of crisis management in educational institutions; the protection of the mental health of children, youth, and teaching staff; digital security and the risks of contemporary technologies; the development of a security culture and inter-institutional cooperation; the strengthening of institutional responsibility and preventive mechanisms of action, and related matters.
