International Student Video Presentation Competition: “From Global Issues to Students’ Solutions”
Eligibility: Open to students from higher education institutions worldwide. Participation is team-based, with teams of 2 to 5 students; the inclusion of one mentor per team is permitted.
Format: Teams submit a video presentation of their project in English or Chinese. The competition is conducted entirely online; submissions are sent by e-mail with a link to the video material (e.g. via a cloud platform).
Thematic areas — teams select one of the following:
- Building the economy of the future: innovative ideas and their implementation
- Digital environment and security
- Psychological well-being and social cohesion
- Cultural synergy: tradition in the age of digitalisation
Video presentation requirements:
- Duration: 2 to 5 minutes
- Must clearly present the project idea and proposed solution
- Must feature all or key team members
- Must meet satisfactory technical standards (clear audio and visuals)
Recommended structure: team and project introduction → problem statement → proposed solution → implementation plan and expected outcomes → conclusion.
Please note: One submission per team. All projects must be original. The use of AI-generated content as the primary component of the submission is not permitted.
Submission period: 1 February – 29 March 2026.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation. The best teams in each thematic area will be awarded prizes. Further information is available on the competition website.
