International Essay Competition “Open Dialogue – 2026”
Dear students and faculty colleagues,
We are pleased to share an opportunity to participate in the international essay competition “Open Dialogue – 2026”, organised by the National Centre RUSSIA. The competition invites participants to develop and present ideas that could contribute to positive change in areas such as human capital, technology, environmental protection, and global development.

Key information:
- Submissions may be written in any language; organisers provide translation to ensure fair evaluation.
- Competition themes encourage creative freedom — participants are invited to share their vision for the future of humanity and society.
- Essays are limited to a maximum of 5 pages (A4 format).
The competition has previously attracted participants from over 100 countries, with entries submitted in more than 16 languages.
What participants stand to gain:
- International scholarship and internship opportunities for the authors of the strongest submissions
- Research grants to support further development of their ideas
- An invitation to Moscow for the top 100 finalists, to attend a week-long summit featuring workshops, networking sessions, and presentations before international organisations
